Energy Ahead is a free program supporting Western Australians to manage and reduce their energy bills with expert coaching and workshops.

Our trained Energy Coaches are understanding and compassionate and want to support you to help reduce your electricity bills in a way that works for you and your needs

An Energy Ahead coach reviews your appliances and energy use to find simple ways to lower your electricity bills. You’ll also receive a personalised report and action plan with practical tips to help you keep saving.

No, Energy Ahead is completely free. It is funded as a commitment of the Western Australian Climate Policy and is delivered in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) by Synergy and the Financial Wellbeing Collective.

You will not get a discount through Energy Ahead, however the coaches can advise whether you are eligible for any concessions or rebates.

Yes, we can arrange a virtual audit or a series of phone coaching sessions. Coaches can guide you through the process to obtain the information they need.

The service is available for in home audits, virtual or phone coaching throughout the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) region from Kalbarri in the north to Albany in the south and Kalgoorlie in the east.

We will only go where you are comfortable. Our Energy Coaches are flexible and are there to help you.

There are lots of reasons your energy bill might be high, from air conditioning and heating to everyday appliance use. We can help you understand where your energy is going and how to control it.

The Energy Ahead home audit service operates Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with phone coaching operating Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm. You, or an authorised representative, need to be at home at a time of your choosing during these hours or available for a series of phone coaching sessions.
