What we do for the community

Our Financial Counsellors work with people to develop plans that can ease financial hardship, giving access to knowledge and tools to improve financial resilience in the future.

Our Financial Coaches work with people to improve financial decision-making and behaviours to improve long-term financial resilience and wellbeing.

We deliver Energy Ahead, working with households to save energy and reduce electricity bills at the same time.

We facilitate the Emergency Relief and Food Access Service (ERFAS), providing assessment and referrals to food relief and financial support services for people needing assistance.

We facilitate Hardship Utility Grant Scheme (HUGS) Service Centre, where trained financial support workers assess financial hardship and eligibility for the scheme.

We provide Community Education that aims to improve financial resilience and wellbeing while preventing hardship.

What we do for our partners and stakeholders

We offer a centralised pathway that connects clients with the most suitable services available in their local area. Our commitment extends to supporting Partner Organisations in delivering high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of the community. To ensure continuous improvement, we regularly gather client feedback across all our services, allowing us to assess our impact, identify service gaps, and enhance the overall client experience and outcomes.

We actively promote awareness of the importance and benefits of financial counselling, coaching, and wellbeing support. Additionally, we collaborate with governing bodies to identify emerging needs and advocate for new consumer protection measures, leveraging our robust data collection processes to inform and support these initiatives.
